March felt like a long month for me, mostly because of SPRING BREAK! Hey, more time for reading. 😉
Books:
I performed in the musical that I was in at the beginning of the month, and a week after that Spring Break started so I’ve had SO much more time to read this month than in January and February.
Undertow by Michael Buckly | I Was Here by Gayle Forman
A Little Something Different by Sandy Hall | This One Summer by Mariko Tamaki
Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead | Half Bad by Sally Green
Favorite of the Month:
Me tweeting with Meg Wolitzer after finishing Belzhar
T.V.
I didn’t watch a lot of T.V. this month, because ummm Fanfiction? But when I did it was Law & Order SVU or Criminal Minds with my brother.
Movies:
At the start of Spring Break I went with a friend and we saw Cinderella. I was surprised by how much I liked this live-action adaption by Disney, as I was expecting that I wouldn’t. But I mean, come on, just look at them.
I also ended up watching Shane Dawson’s Not Cool on Netflix. My god that was a wild ride.
I saw McFarland USA in theaters with my family and it was absolutely wonderful! For anyone who is a XC runner or simply a lover of heartfelt films will love this one.
Music:
I FINALLY STARTED TAKING PIANO/VOICE AGAIN!!!!
What have I been listening to?
Royal Assasin | While Writing
Cheering for Your Summer Holidays | While In the Car
Blogging and Other Media:
Last month I mentioned that I am now a contributor for another YA blog Lit Up Review. Be sure to check out our content.
I read this AMAZING Harry Potter Fanfic titled Shadows of Ourselves. It was very unique and even though the characters were all a little OOC it was very well explained.

Glad you had such a good month! I was wondering if you had read the first books in the Penderwicks series and I would love for you to read and review “Penderwicks in Spring”- It’s a little more Middle Grade with some YA, but I’d love to know your thoughts!
Mary says
I have never read the Penderwicks series but have always considered reading it. It’s good to know that they most recent book in the series has some YA elements, I’ll need to check them out!
